Good morning! There’s been tons of news out of the NASCAR world since their last race two weeks ago including crew chief swaps, driver announcements and even new ownership investments. But now we can get back to the on-track action as NASCAR visits the Music City for some super speedway racing!

Ricciardo’s Return to Redbull?

Hoping for a "fairytale ending" to his career, F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo is willing to mix it up with AlphaTauri if it paves the road back to Red Bull. Ricciardo, who jumped from Toro Rosso to Red Bull in 2013 before two pitstops at Renault and McLaren, has now returned to Red Bull as a third driver 🔄.

"This, for me, would be like the fairytale," Ricciardo told ESPN. "I’ll probably have to work my way up a little bit, but it’s really nice to be back here."

However, a spot at Red Bull seems unlikely as Sergio Perez is contracted until the end of 2024. Next month, Ricciardo will have a Pirelli tire test at Silverstone for Red Bull, hoping to prove he's still got it 👀.

"I’m going to put a bit of pressure on myself... and try to remind the team that I can still do it." 💪

Racing Against Time - 2024 Scheduling Obstacles

The NTT IndyCar Series faces two scheduling hurdles for 2024. One being the month-long gap between the opening race in St. Petersburg and round two at Texas Motor Speedway, and the other, the 2024 Paris Olympics 🏅, which overlaps with current Nashville and IMS Brickyard weekends.
