Verstappen's Chill Pill: Russell Notices a Calmer Max

Max Verstappen and George Russell

George Russell of Mercedes believes his F1 peer, Max Verstappen, has significantly cooled off his driving style this 2023 season. 🏁 Shaking off his trademark aggression, Verstappen appears to have found a newfound serenity on the track. Russell shared, "when you’re battling for a championship you fight slightly differently" and "now Max is probably less aggressive... because he’s in not in a position that he needs to be aggressive*."

With the confidence to "lose a position and know that he’ll get it back later", will Verstappen's ice-cool strategy secure him another championship win?🏆

Record Speeds Anticipated at Road America

Road America's newly resurfaced 4.048-mile course is proving to be a game-changer for record-breaking lap times. After MotoAmerica's Josh Herrin shattered the previous track record on two wheels, IndyCar drivers are already sniffing at long-standing lap records in testing. Pole record-holder Dario Franchitti believes his 2000 record might tumble, admitting that the track’s smoother surface and softer tires "will likely lead to falling records". Andretti Autosport's Colton Herta echoes the excitement, adding the resurface could mean "better overtaking opportunities." 🚀
