Haas Doubles Down
Haas F1 took the spotlight at Zandvoort as they confirmed Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg for 2024, choosing experience over overhaul. 📢✨
Haas rarely announces their drive lineup so early, but a dip in car performance compared to last year seems to have inspired a tactical choice. Though the team's points are a mere shadow of last year, Hulkenberg's energy has boosted team morale. Magnussen, on the other hand, thrives in the close-knit Haas environment, making him a natural choice for retention. 🔄
“I think it’s safe to say that we’ve had an extremely solid driver pairing this season in Formula 1 and ultimately there was no reason to look to change that moving forward,” stated Team Principal Guenther Steiner.
Big picture: With Haas settled, only five seats for 2024 are up in the air. Eyes are on Mercedes – but Hamilton's continued run looks promising. 👀

GMS Closes up Shop
GMS Racing, a force to be reckoned with in the NASCAR Truck Series, is closing its doors after this season. The team, which boasts 5 titles across various series, will wrap things up after a solid nine-year run. The connected GMS Fabrication will also close shop after the final championship race in Phoenix.
Maury Gallagher, the team owner, praised the hardworking crew behind the success: “Every employee at GMS has strived to be the very best.”
Mike Beam, the pivotal leader since 2015, added, "Our success wouldn’t have been possible without the talented people that have walked through our doors."
Hope's not lost for this year, though - driver Grant Enfinger still has a shot at another championship 🏆. It’s business as usual till the final lap. 🛻💨
