Blue-Emu Firecracker 400 Second Qualifying is LIVE!

Last night Nick Ottinger became the fastest driver in the Firecracker 400 by winning the pole. He also took the Radius Last To First challenge, which means we will see him drop to the back of the field for the race to go after an extra $20,000

Tonight is Blue-Emu Firecracker 400 second round qualifying!

Twenty drivers locked themselves into the Firecracker 400 last night and 61 have erased their times and now will try for a second and FINAL time to make the field tonight. Now Dale Earnhardt Jr elected to stand on his time from last night. With the track conditions changing, will he make the field? Who took the right gamble?

About The Firecracker 400

The Firecracker 400 was a July 4th holiday tradition in NASCAR for more than 50 years. The OGs of NASCAR in the 1970s and 1980s drove their ill-handling race cars during the daytime heat of Florida in July in a challenging 400-mile race at the historic Daytona International Speedway.

The esports version of this event was first run in June of 2020. Created by NASCAR drivers Landon Cassill and Parker Kligerman, it is a recreation of the classic race on the iRacing platform. The event is an ode to stock car racing’s past, with an open entry iRacing race using the 1987 stock cars at Legacy Daytona International Speedway (2007). The event prize pool totals over $12,500, as racers from around the world, will compete over a three-week span to qualify for the 2nd annual Blue- Emu Firecracker 400.
