Las Vegas gears up for its first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 40 years, 🎰 but ticket prices are skidding with Max Verstappen clinching the championship early. TickPick CEO Brett Goldberg notes, "Excitement has started to fizzle," resulting in a 35% drop in race-day ticket prices, hitting an average "get-in" price of $1,060. Even practice and qualifying tickets have nosedived up to 60%. 📉

Vegas hotels join the markdown madness, with average room prices down 24% to $283 per night. However, MGM's Bellagio offers a sold-out $12,000 F1 package. With 100,000 attendees expected, sponsors like Heineken are still optimistic about the opportunity. Las Vegas, the third US city to host an F1 race this year, anticipates a $1.3 billion boost, making it the "single largest special event in Las Vegas history." 🌟🏁
