New Car, Who Dis?

Formula 1 and the FIA just dropped the 2026 technical regulations, which promise massive changes to the sport.

Key changes:

  • 30kg lighter cars for better efficiency and handling

  • Introduction of active aerodynamics

  • 100% sustainable fuel usage

  • Power units with 300% more battery power

FIA President Mohamed Ben Sulayem highlighted, “We are defining a hugely exciting future... a set of regulations designed to not only improve racing but also make the championship more attractive.”

Expect lighter, faster, and more dynamic cars with a focus on sustainability and innovation. “Lighter, more powerful, and more focused on driver skill,” noted FIA's Nikolas Tombazis.
