Tired Of The Rules

F1 drivers, including Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso, are pushing for changes to the red-flag tire rule after it "ruined" the Monaco GP. The first-lap crash involving Sergio Perez and Haas drivers led to a red flag, allowing all drivers to change tires and eliminating strategic drama.

"After the red flag, our strategy was ruined... driving literally half throttle on the straights," said Verstappen. Lando Norris added, "The red flag at the beginning ruined any other opportunities." Even Alex Albon, who benefitted, admitted, "We need to figure out what's going on."

Alonso emphasized, "The only point of interest in a Monaco race is the pitstops... it becomes nothing without that excitement."

Would pit stops have saved the Monaco GP?
