Almirola's Suspension Drama Unveiled

Aric Almirola is set to return to Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) next month at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after a team-issued suspension. The suspension followed an altercation with Bubba Wallace at a competition meeting involving 23XI Racing and JGR drivers.

πŸ—£οΈ "Who said that?" Wallace responded when asked about the incident, dismissing the rumor as "crazy."

The dispute led to Almirola missing the May 25 Xfinity race, where Ty Gibbs stepped in and won the pole. The team initially cited it as a "team decision," but industry sources confirm the altercation was the reason. Almirola, who retired from full-time Cup racing in 2023, joined JGR to mentor drivers and compete part-time in Xfinity races. His next race is scheduled for Indianapolis.

"No comment," was the official stance from JGR regarding the suspension.
